At Rise, Modern Krav Maga is an effective and dynamic self-defense system. It is at the heart of our programs because it pulls from different fighting systems, and we fine-tune our modern version to be relevant and applicable for all people in today’s world. Add in our Grappling class and your self-defense training becomes more complete with training designed to help you navigate confrontations that have you pinned or on the ground.
Our MITTmania Kickboxing class is one of the fun ways we teach striking, specifically with punching and kicking. It is also a great way to improve cardiovascular endurance and stamina! We teach offensive + defensive skills using boxing gloves, focus mitts or thai pads and a partner! Boxing gloves are required.
Heavy Bag Fit is an energetic, FUN combination of boxing, kickboxing and functional strength training! We use the heavy bags to relieve stress, burn calories and improve stamina. We then mix in kettlebells, resistance bands and bodyweight exercises to build strength and tone muscle! Boxing gloves and fitness/yoga mat are required.
Sparology Kickboxing teaches both striking and clinch work. It serves as a bridge between the two for when that transition happens in a real fight. We teach people how to protect themselves in scenarios where distance is a factor, their legs and arms are pinned, or they’re in a confined space. Boxing gloves and approved shin guards are required.
Our youth program is designed to prepare your child to deal with adversity, whether it be physical, emotional, or mental. Utilizing Kickboxing, Jiu-Jitsu, and Krav Maga, your child is exposed to a mixed modern combatives approach to martial arts, making them more well rounded, on and off of the mats. Our youth program focuses on giving your child the confidence boost and a fitness goal that will eventually help him/her grow into a responsible and successful adult.
